“My trip to Nepal with the Mountain Kora team was life-changing. Our Sherpa hosts, both in Kathmandu and on the trek, were incredibly gracious and hospitable. The pace of hiking was perfect -- we covered enough miles each day to provide a challenge and see spectacular scenery, but gave adequate time for acclimation and to learn about the mountains, the culture, and the Nepalese people.  Tensing is the consummate guide: organized but also flexible,  tuned-in to the needs of his trekkers, thoughtful and kind. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of trekking in the Himalayas and well-connected to the communities along the trail -- it seemed that at each town where we stayed, Tensing had a cousin, aunt or uncle. The assistant guides and porters also were very helpful, answering our questions, helping with gear, anything that they could do to make us comfortable. I whole-heartedly recommend trekking with Mountain Kora -- I hope to return in the future.   ”
